I'm a magazine writer with a penchant for politics, relationships, and dressing like Kate Middleton. My writing appears in GQ, Cosmopolitan, The New Republic, The Guardian, and more. Previously, I was the senior political writer for Cosmopolitan, and before that, I was a White House correspondent at National Journal.
I'm also a co-director of the Princeton University Summer Journalism Program, a 10-day intensive for low-income high school seniors that aims to diversify college and professional newsrooms. Learn more about the program here.
I graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Though I'm now based in Brooklyn, I’m a Seattle native, and eternal believer in #westcoastbestcoast.
